Why become a member?

Membership is open to any organisation based in Kent and Medway that is operating within the third sector, works with third sector organisations or has an interest in doing so.

Membership is currently free of charge because our network is our greatest asset and each new member brings with them a wealth of knowledge and information. 

We already have some great benefits to offer to our growing membership and are developing many others. 

Current membership Benefits:-

Networking
Meet others in our network of like-minded organisations.  We facilitate formal networking and we have a searchable database  of over 1,000 third sector organisations in Kent and Medway.

Raising your profile
At every opportunity we will be raising the profile of our members, for example by: arranging site visits for commissioners; writing case studies for marketing materials and press releases; and sourcing speaking opportunities at events, both internal and external. 

Information
As we gather information, we will share it with you, including contacts, statistics, policy updates, changes in local government, news relevant to the sector, in fact anything that can help your business.

The Hub
We have space for members to hire at Kent Enterprise House, a newly built, high quality, serviced hub for third sector organisations.

Events
Regular invites will be sent to members for our conferences, training sessions, industry specific events, cross industry events and lots more.   Of course, as a member you can tell us what events you need most.

Brokerage
We hope to negotiate deals for our members for: Insurance; Professional services; Office supplies; Magazine subscriptions; Discounts on external events; Venue hire etc

Technology
We will be creating an online directory with links to other member websites, online resources and online forums.
